I also wanted to give back some of the love and kindness I have been getting from all of you in all your lovely comments, and as an appreciation gift for following me around... the blog has now more than 200 followers, plus our Facebook, email and Pinterest readers.

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! December is the best birthday month! The stores are always chock full of good stuff and people seem to be more giving then :D I follow in gfc. Favorite birthday treat: a fresh haircut and a day out in a cafe, just when they open, with a nice newspaper.

Happy Birthday. I hope you have a good day. We always had a special cake for birthdays. That is -- everyone but our middle daughter. Poor thing! I was always so busy with Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations that we bought an ice cream cake from Baskin Robins for her. I actually don't think I ever made her a cake. Now she is 40 and has a family of her own, and I don't think she suffered from not having a homemade cake. ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! My Dad was born shortly before Christmas and my son was born in early January... we are careful to celebrate his completely separate from Christmas and used to have his birthday party in late January to spread it out a bit.

ReplyDeleteWell first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Tis the season for birthdays... My mom is the 21, favorite aunt is the 22, grand mother is the 24! So it was hard every year to do something for each of them and then have christmas, but we always managed to do something for each!
